This purse is gorgeous and the shape conforms to the body well. The leather is stiff, which was not what I expected, but I find it makes the purse feel more sturdy, and (in contrast with a suede purse I have of a similar size and shape) it doesn't show weird lumps when I over-pack it. My only criticisms & why I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars are: 1) I wish it were 1/2- 1" wider at the base (in my other favorite purse I carry 2 pairs of glasses, a wallet, a 5x8 notebook, and a small makeup kit. I have to omit one of these items when using this purse); and 2) the smooth leather underside of the shoulder strap tends to slide off my shoulder if I'm wearing a top or jacket in a smooth fabric.
