B. MAKOWSKY Havana Large Top Zip Hobo

I have several BM bags and this one in red is just as beautiful and functional as all BM bags. Leather and detail are outstanding. I bought it really to use as a summer bag with neutral tones and it fills the bill with class and elegance. The only thing one needs to be aware of is due to the quality of leather BM uses, some of his bags are quite heavy even when they're empty.

Amazon.com needs to provide more information on the size of the bags they sell. Though the name of it incude the word Large, it was not clear just how large it is. This MAKOWSKY Havana Large Top Zip Hobo is much bigger than I expected. Here is my measurements of the bag: 16"W x 10"H x 4.5"D.

I normally buy handbags from another online merchant because they provide not only the dimention measurements, but include a photo of every bag being carried by a mannequin so that the shoppers can see the relative scale of the bag and how long the strap is. These things help me as a shopper to better assess if the purchase would fit me, and reduce the chance of me returning the bag greatly.

Someone who likes very large handbags may like this one, but unfortunately I will be returning this bag...

This Makowsky bag is one of his best. The brandy color is perfect. The bag is large and stylish. I liked it so much I went back and bought the same style in the lavender.
