I just purchased this bag in shale. The hobo is expandable to a tote size. It's nice and deep and has a nice white silk lining inside. There is a zippered pocket as well as smaller slots for cell phone, etc. The exterior has kind of a textured feel. There is dull gold detailing all over the bag which I liked very much. This is an all round versatile bag (semi-casual to dressy).
