The purse is very cute and stylish, it's just a little on the small side. Besides that, the biggest downfall that I've found is that the opening is elastic so I can't very easily just look in and grab something; I have to kind of hold it open. You can adjust the cinch ties, but I think my biggest problem is that it's still new and I haven't worn in the elastic.
The fabric is the same on the whole purse, the bottom has a separate strip on the bottom, but it's the same color/ fabric. There's a cellphone pocket on the inside and a small zippered pocket across from it on the inside.
It's big enough to hold my journal, cell phone, pens, tissues, pocket Bible, and maybe a couple more small things, but it gets to be a tight fit pretty quickly. It's just big enough to carry a little bit more than the essentials. The strap is a little short. I'm 5'8" and I had to adjust the strap to the longest point for it to hit me correctly as a cross-body.
