Comment: I got the green Paulina - and I love it! I already got complements on the slick design. Love the yellow interior, well sawn, and fresh colors! The only disadvantage is that since the interior is bright & light it is not as resistant to stains (e.g., from pens that I keep in my purse).


But the button line is that this purse makes me feel happy!

Comment: My husband doesn't understand why I buy new purses and bags, and he pokes fun of me, in that wonderfully spousal way, that I am engaged in the eternal quest for the perfect bag. I haven't found the holy grail of handbags, yet, but this one comes pretty close.

I purchased the Paulina Hobo International bag in black. The leather is gorgeous and soft, and the red interior is nothing short of sexy. The bag was shallower than I had envisioned, but overall, the purse has a surprising interior capacity. I am able to tuck my Kindle in its case, for example, into one side of the purse, and it doesn't appear or feel bulky.

The interior has okay compartments. The cell phone pocket holds my smartphone just fine, and the back pockets and interior divider are useful. My only disappointment in this bag...and the only thing holding it back from fulfilling my quest...is that the purse lacks pen holders. I always carry a pencil and pen with me and this bag requires a separate pen holder.

Comment: I bought this for my wife. She had it on her list of Christmas wishes, and upon receiving it, was excited and surprised. She especially liked the bright red interior and the pocket separator down the middle. The material seems durable, although I am worried about the handles wearing out just above where they join the purse itself. They seem to be creasing already.

Comment: Hobo International is a leather goods manufacturer from Maryland which makes a wide range of accessories, including sunglasses, belts, wallets, briefcases and so forth. But, the best thing that they make (in my opinion) is handbags.

The Paulina is a very nice handbag - sleek and understated - relatively small, but opens up to hold more than you would think. The handle is nice and strong, the interior fabric is brightly colored (which makes finding things in the bottom much easier!), and the zipper has two slides (which allows you to open it any way you like.

This is a very nice shoulder bag. I went with black, which I thought looked the most elegant. Its brushed nickel metalwork goes well with the color - contrasting, but brushed so as not to be too shiny. I am very pleased with this handbag, and think that I made a great purchase. Buy one!
