Apart from the chain there is a braided fabric handle of a different length. Both handles are not detachable so if you want to use it as a clutch you will have to put them inside the purse leaving no room for anything else (since its quite small). Using the chain handle will mean that the fabric handle will dangle out as well and you cant put it on your shoulder or anything since its a different length.

While the body of the purse is as shown, the handles are a serious design flaw.

I returned this clutch purse as I thought it cheap looking. There is an ugly metal strip along the top that you cannot see in the picture. I had previously purchased another clutch from this maker and that one was terrific.
