This is one sweet tote. Very classy and fashionable yet quite practical. The exterior is some kind of vinyl maybe? Will be very easy to clean, and appears very durable. The leather look black straps up the front and back of the tote, are very soft. The bottom of the tote is very soft to the touch also. The canvas straps appear well made. There are 3 pockets on the inside (1 with a zipper). There are 3 zippered pockets on the outside. In one of mine the fabric is ripped away, so I will have to send it back for a replacement. Thus the 4 stars, since someone should have inspected it before it was sent out. I love this tote and plan on using it as a travel bag. I just hope I get a replacement before I leave on vacation. Update: Sent this tote back same day I received it because of damage. It is now 2 days later and I have my replacement! Thanks Amazon.

When I received this bag I was pleasantly surprised as it was much nicer then I expected. It's well made, has lots and lots of pockets, loads of room, and is really cute. You can even wipe it off if something spills on it. Great for traveling. As a result of this purchase I had to buy the matching luggage pieces. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone thinking about buying it. Love Sidney Love!

This was my first Sydney Love purchase, which I made based on other sites' reviews (ebags.com, endless.com, etc.) that said this brand is well-made and durable. That's absolutely true: When I took this bag out of the box, I was immediately impressed with how rugged it seemed, especially the cute canvas straps -- they seemed like they wouldn't fray easily. Both the inside and outside patterns are beautiful, too, and it has a wealth of handy pockets for ladies (like moi) who carry their lives in the purses.

That said, I also think there are some downsides to this bag. For one, all those handy pockets I mentioned are toward the top of the bag, so when you fill them up it quickly gets very top-heavy. This bag is also very, very big -- too big for an everyday purse (which is what I was looking for), though it'd probably be a good size for a travel bag. Also, because it's so big and so sturdily made, it's actually rather heavy, even when it's empty. I tend to overload my purses...Read more
