It says it's 8 x 7.5 and because the none of the pictures was straight from the front of the bag I kind of assumed 7.5 was the horizontal measurement. I was wrong.
It's 7.5 inches tall (but usable space is only 6.5 inches tall) and 8 inches wide.
But the zipper is shorter than the bag, so anything wider than 6 inches would have hard time getting in the bag if not at all.
I thought I could carry my kindle in this bag but I can't, unless I want to have the zipper open. Since the flap is quite long it doesn't look weird if I put my kindle in it. But I just don't feel secure.
I bought the bamboo sparkle color and it's exactly what I thought it would be. It's a very very pretty bag. I kind of worried about the length of the shoulder string but it's long enough but not too long.
The bag is perfectly beautiful and really beautiful. It's heavier than it looks. But it's a very small bag, so it's not that heavy.

If your the type of person that loves to carry a billion of things inside your purse, then this purse is not for you. The purse is small, cute, and durable. And that's what I love about it. I ordered the Black Sparkle, because it can be worn with almost anything and on any occasion. The shipping was quick and the product was in perfect condition. I would definitely recommend this purse to my friends :)
