Besides being roomy and practical, this beautiful bag is ... well, beautiful. The photo doesn't do it justice. The background is a luscious, rich red-orange, and the design colors are turquoise, white, gold, berry, and dark brown. It has a southwestern feel to it, and I consider it a summer bag with its "hot" colors.
It's in the newer Villager style with two front pockets - one zip and one slip. The inside is the same classic design of six slip pockets besides the main compartment. The base is a very sturdy piece of slide-out cardboard and the bag itself is washable - although I don't recommend throwing it in the dryer. I always air-dry my Vera Bradley pieces.

I got this bag to be a work bag/purse, and it's the perfect size. It has plenty of compartments on the inside to organize things, and 2 on the outside. The zipper close is great, because everything is more secure than if it just snapped closed.

I have been a fan of Vera Bradley ever since my son's ex girl friend gave me a couple of pocket books and a computer/book bag.
They are durable and wash and dry beautifully. I have had more compliments on the colors in my new Vera Bradley Villager Tote in Poppy Fields. I would recommend Vera Bradley products to anyone.
I ordered my bag and it was delivered in about three days, alot quicker than I had anticipated. Amazon lived up to their reputation for the speed and quality of purchasing on line.
